Call of Duty: Black Ops – zombie mode

“The Nazi’s are attacking!”

“What?! We killed them 65 years ago!”

“They’re back!”

*drumroll please…*

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombie mode!!!!!

Today I called a few friends over for a few games of Black Ops. My internet connection was down, so we played split screen. After some games of multiplayer team deathmatches, we played zombie mode. In this mode, you basically kill zombies before they kill you. Word of advice: always play with other people, playing solo is extremely difficult and probably won’t get you past 4 rounds.

The main objective of the game depends on the map. Generally it is to kill zombies and earn cash, but (for example) in Kino Der Toten, another objective is to turn the power on. You earn cash for every zombie you kill, and also for things like building barriers, reviving teammates, etc.

As you progress, you unlock doors and fight more difficult zombies that are faster and harder to kill. It is actually a good way for noobs to practice before playing online.

P.S. Stay tuned for my review of multiplayer mode!

Xbox and violence really go well together

Hey, sorry about the delay but I was really hammering my brains out on COD: Black Ops, Gears of War 2 and Kinect Adventures. I only have time for one review so let’s do it.

*SPOILER ALERT*Black Ops is actually a very fitting title. The campaign mode is gripping as you follow the recollections of a CIA operative/US Marine as he battles terrorists, communists, and even zombies. There is and option to play alone or co-op with friends (local or Xbox Live) to kill as many zombies as possible, wave after wave. The multiplayer is brilliant, perhaps the best part of the game. However, graphics sometimes falter.*NO MORE SPOILERS*
Overall, Black Ops has good game mechanics, improvable graphics, gripping gameplay and intense multiplayer. BUY IT, IDIOT!
